There are over 450,000 Americans who are dependent on a dialysis machine to stay alive.
This requires them to go to a dialysis clinic an average of 3 times a week for 6 hours or to dialyze at home every night for about 9 hours.
Registering to be a deceased organ donor or being a living donor can help give these people freedom from a dialysis machine thorough a kidney transplant.
As we celebrate our independence this month, consider helping others live independent lives.

Here’s to independence because there is an organ donor in everyone!
Thank you!
